Rabbitohs Head of High Performance Paul Devlin gives us an update on Jason Clark and Robert Jennings in this week’s Alcatel High Performance Update.
Jason Clark came from the field in Friday night's clash with the Tigers with an ankle concern whilst Jennings picked up a knee injury in our Round 9 clash with the Sea Eagles.
"Jason Clark aggravated the joint in his ankle so we'll assess him later on in the week and see how long he's out for," said Devlin.
"Robert Jennings has had a clear out in his knee - nothing too serious - he starts running again this week and we'll see how he progresses over the next two weeks."
In a sign of success for the Rabbitohs medical team, Aaron Gray and Jack Gosiewski both made successful returns to the field after their injuries. Devlin credits their hard work in rehabilitation and says their strong performances are directly related to that.
"Both had very strong returns and we're really proud of them for that," said Devlin.
"It comes to the work they've done in rehab. I have said in previous updates they've worked really hard on their conditioning level which is what enables them to come back and play the way they did on the weekend.
"Hopefully they can stay back now, continue and build some form."
