Rabbitohs Skipper Greg Inglis has gone above and beyond to make the day of Gladstone residents Jen and Olivia Russell during a Queensland Maroons Fan Day.
13-year old Olivia, who suffers from multiple intellectual impairments, was unable to attend the Fan Day with her mother Jen. Jen, knowing how much of a “huge Rabbitohs and Greg Inglis fan” her daughter is, sneakily went about organizing several friends to attend the Fan Day on behalf of Olivia to secure GI’s support in creating a magic moment that Olivia will have for a lifetime.
Several of Jen’s friends approached Greg with the request and with his help managed to walk away with signed photographs, a personalized letter from GI and a photo of Inglis holding an image of Olivia.
Olivia was left overwhelmed and exuberant when surprised by her mother with the package after school.
