Rabbitohs Outside Back Aaron Gray believes the bye week has helped freshen up the squad while the absence of football has created an eagerness in the playing group to play high intensity football when we face the Brisbane Broncos on Saturday.
“We’ve had a few days off to freshen up our minds and bodies and everybody’s been ripping in and ready to go yesterday and today,” Gray said.
“Madge just told us to get away and freshen up, not think too much about footy, and come back ready to go.
“What we’re focusing now, for the rest of the year, is just taking it week by week; just focusing on this week against the Broncos.
