Anthony Cherrington is putting the Round 11 clash behind him as he focuses on the next game against the Parramatta Eels on Friday night.
“Obviously there was a lot of chances for us in the game that we didn’t really grasp but Melbourne is behind us now and we’ve got to look forward to playing against Parramatta,” explained Cherrington.
“We will all go individually and check our own performances and then bring that together as a whole team against Parramatta.
Cherrington isn’t fussed by the short turn around describing going into this week’s training similar to every other week.
“Short turn arounds are non-existent anymore, if you look at State of Origin, guys are playing two days later so we will prepare just like every other week.”
Despite not taking home the two points, the team has a close comradery that Cherrington explains is the goal within a team environment.
“We’ve been working to get to this point for the last couple of weeks.
“There has been a bit of shuffling around the team including different players every week but we’ve got a good mojo at the moment and that’s what we want in a team.”
