Proud Rabbitohs Member, Nicolas Bugge, got a lot more than he bargained for when he attended a recent Rabbitohs home game, thanks to Suttons South Sydney.
After being chosen from the crowd of the annual Good Friday clash against the Bulldogs, Bugge, 21, was lucky enough to select the correct key that allowed him the opportunity to Kick for a Car.
Channelling his inner Adam Reynolds, Nicolas nailed kicks from 10 metres, 20 metres and 35 metres to claim more than a mere six points – a brand new Holden Spark his reward for his accuracy off the boot.
“I was very lucky to get the opportunity to kick it,” said a smiling Nicolas of the achievement.
“I got it in the end so I’m very happy. I think I knew (I’d got it) after the second kick after 20 (metres). I nailed that one and felt pretty confident, but my legs – I couldn’t really feel them out there after the 35.

“After I kicked it I just looked up and started running because I knew I’d got it, so it was pretty good.”
While Rabbitohs halfback and goal-kicker, Reynolds, didn’t see the kick live, the sharp-shooter certainly heard it.
“I was in the change room, and a bit of a roar went up round the Stadium,” said Reynolds of Bugge’s effort
“From what I’ve heard, he’s got it down pat so maybe a few tips – I’ll be giving him a call up later.”
Bugge wasted no time in sticking a white Rabbitohs sticker on the rear windshield of his new wheels when presented with the car recently at Suttons South Sydney – the Member of almost 10 years thanking Suttons for the opportunity.
“The new car’s amazing,” said Nicolas.
“I’ve got to thank Suttons South Sydney for the opportunity and the promotion. It’s a great initiative –I’m very, very excited, very grateful and very lucky.”
