Rabbitohs Captain Sam Burgess has discussed his England side's upcoming clash with Samoa ahead of the Pacific Test Invitational this Saturday at Campbelltown Stadium.
Burgess will get his first taste of Pacific Test action this Saturday, with the English powerhouse keen to experience the passion shown by the island nations.
"The Pacific Test for me, since I've been in the NRL, has always been a great game that I enjoy watching," said Sam Burgess.
"Fortunately now England have been invited into this Pacific Test. It's going to be amazing to be a part of it. The football that we have seen played in these matches are played with passion, heart, desire and a bit of flair in there.
"I think England are going to bring that same level of passion and desire as the other nations involved. I'm over the moon to be involved."
England are ranked 3rd in the world heading into this encounter while Samoa are equalled 5th. Burgess believes it'll be a quality encounter that'll prove a good testing ground ahead of the Rugby League World Cup later this year.
"The quality of players (for Samoa) are unbelieveable," said Burgess.
"You've got Milford who'll jump in the halves this weekend, he's probably been one of the in-form players in the competition over the last two-three seasons. The forward pack; big boys, all mobile with great hands.
"This game this week is my first time playing against Samoa so I'm looking forward to what it's all about."
