The Rabbitohs’ game day experience has been ranked number one in the NRL and number three in Australian Sport in a report released recently.
The report, put together by Stadium Journey and reported on by Triple M, listed the top ten sporting teams in Australia which have the best game day experience for fans.
NRL teams fill five of the top ten spots, with the Rabbitohs ranked number one amongst those five Clubs.
The report highlights the home-feel of ANZ Stadium that is created by the Rabbitohs Members and supporters, saying: “the Rabbitohs do a great job of making it (ANZ Stadium) feel like home.”
The results pay homage to the Rabbitohs’ Members and supporters that come out to ANZ Stadium and throw their support behind the team in person.
The electric atmosphere created at ANZ Stadium, in particular in the Member seating areas on both sides of the ground, is something that every Rabbitohs Member and supporter should experience, particularly at big games such as rivalry games against Sydney Clubs, and in particular the annual Good Friday clash with the Bulldogs.
The Rabbitohs shifted their home ground to ANZ Stadium in 2006 and worked hard with ANZ Stadium to create an atmosphere and facilities that give ANZ Stadium that feeling of being at home.
Special seating areas, signage, function areas and facilities for Members, as well as the Rabbitohs’ own dedicated change rooms all add to the home ground atmosphere at ANZ Stadium.
