The South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares helped bring a community together at yesterday's NAIDOC Festival at Heffron Park.
Laughter and cheer were all that you could see as families young and old enjoyed themselves on a unique selection of activities.
Members of the Rabbitohs squad were also in attendance at the fabulous event signing autographs and taking selfies with adoring supporters, which five-eighth Cody Walker says is a huge honour.
"It was a great day a great turnout with a lot of the community coming together," said Walker.
"That's what NAIDOC Week is about, it's about celebrating our culture."
With over 1000 people in attendance yesterday the Red and Green stars were flooded with Members and supporters wanting to get to know them and wishing them all the best with their season.
"It's overwhelming the amount of support that we have, being in the South Sydney district down in 'Lapa'," said Walker.
"It's always a good turnout at these sort of events. I saw a lot of Red and Green at the event and smiling kids faces, it puts a smile on all of our faces.
