Hear from the man himself, John Sutton, as he talks to the media ahead of his 300th all grades game for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Friday night’s match against the Gold Coast Titans will mark Sutton’s 272nd NRL game and his milestone 300th appearance for South Sydney in all grades.
“300 Club games for all grades,” Sutton noted.
“I guess it’s a pretty big achievement. It just shows I’ve been around for a long time.
“Hopefully we can just get a good win.”
Sutton is a one-Club man, representing Souths at a junior level and climbing up the ranks to fulfil his 14th season at the Rabbitohs. However despite the milestone achievement, Sutton is focus on the game at hand and explains the importance of producing a win against the Titans.
“To be a one-Club player is a goal of mine but we will see what happens. I’m just looking to get back out here and get a win this weekend.
“It’s very important, I thought we did some good things against Brisbane, we’ve just got to make sure we back it up this week and put in another good performance.
“We’ve got to start winning games or our finals hopes will be gone very quickly. We’ve just got to make sure we train hard and put our best performance in this week.”
