The Four-Pointer - What to look out for in Rd 11

The South Sydney Rabbitohs travel up the coast to take on the North Queensland Cowboys for what promises to be an entertaining NRL clash in Townsville.

The Red and Green are in high spirits right now after a big Round 10 win while the Cowboys are looking to get their season back on track.

It's poised to be an intriguing encounter with plenty of action for supporters to keep their eyes on.

Here are four things that you need to look out for:

Battle of the best

The debate on who the best player is in the league is a discussion that could take 110 years and you still wouldn't have a clear-cut decision by the end of it.

However, there is no doubting that Rabbitohs enforcer Sam Burgess and Cowboys wrecking ball Jason Taumalolo are two of the best forwards in the game.

Those who love the game of Rugby League are in for a huge treat when these two giants of the competition collide on Saturday at 1300SMILES Stadium.

While the Cowboys haven't been travelling all too well this season, Tamaulolo has been quietly achieving in the statistics department featuring in the top five for three key stats, with 663 post contact metres, 47 tackle breaks and 163.5 average run metres per game.

While Burgess doesn't feature in any top five categories right now, the barnstorming Englishman has missed four games through suspension and still remains close to his opponent's numbers.

Making 191 tackles and running 159. 4 metres per game, Burgess is matching the North Queensland forward numbers in a smaller amount of time.

It's sure to be an epic clash between two powerhouse forwards and whoever can come out on top will go a long way into helping his side come away with the two points.

'The benchmark'

After beating the Melbourne Storm a week before they faced the mighty Red and Green, the Dragons were labelled by Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy as the 'benchmark' of the competition.

The Dragons weren't able to live up to that tag the following game as they succumbed to a 14-point loss to Souths.

During his post-match press conference, Dragons boss Paul McGregor cheekily passed the buck on to the boys in Cardinal and Myrtle and now it is our turn to show if we can handle the added pressure of hype.

Judging by the feeling around camp, the boys aren't too concerned with the extra praise or as Sam Burgess put it 'mind games'.

Yet, it's an opportunity for the Rabbitohs to use the newly branded tag to aim up even higher this weekend against the Cowboys.

Rabbitohs look to break drought

There's no point hiding it, Souths Members and supporters. Over the last ten games against the Cowboys, the men from North Queensland have had us well and truly covered.

Winning just two of the last ten matches, the Red and Green will be looking to swing the pendulum back in their favour this Saturday and it may be the best chance to do it, with the Cowboys struggling for consistent form in 2018.

Will the Cowboys hot streak over the Rabbitohs continue or will the South Sydney outfit break the drought?

Rabbitohs' road trip

The game on Saturday marks the start of a tricky run of matches for the Rabbitohs, who travel to Queensland twice and New Zealand in the space of four matches. So you can bet your bottom dollar that the Red and Green will want to get off to a winning start with victory over the Cowboys in Townsville.

The Round 11 matchup also kicks starts part one of the Rabbitohs and Cowboys two-game series, with the Rabbitohs returning to North Queensland in five rounds time to host the Cows at Barlow Park.

Every Member and supporter should keep a close eye on this upcoming match as it could potentially set up a fantastic run of form for the mighty Cardinal and Myrtle.
