Our very own Adam Reynolds is among the top 10 elite Australian athletes vying for the Sports Dad of the Year award to be announced on Father's Day on Sunday, September 6.
Now in its 12th year, the award showcases the contribution Australia's sporting elite make to their families both on and off the field. Last years winner was Benji Marshall who donated his winnings to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The Sports Dad of the Year will highlight 10 elite athletes across a range of sports, giving insights into how they juggle fatherhood with their sporting commitments.
This year's nominated Sports Dads will be profiled on sportsdads.com.au which will include questions and answers from the players about their families, as well as some comments from the athletes' family.
All voters have the opportunity to win special prizes for their own father this Father's Day, including the Philips Shaver 6000, with the winning Philips Sports Dad of the Year receiving $5,000 to donate to their charity of choice.

We asked Adam what’s the best things about being a dad.
“Just knowing the kids love you unconditionally and watching them grow into happy little people,” he said.
“I love having them there, especially after games.
“I’m a big wrestler, we have a rumble here and there but I just love being out and about with them, doing anything.”
This year’s other finalists include Josh Morris, Michael Jennings and James Tamou. They will be joined by Richmond AFL captain Trent Cotchin, Geelong’s goal scoring freak Tom Hawkins and the Lions’ veteran mid fielder Mitch Robinson. Supercar favourite Fabian Coulthard makes his first appearance, along with Boomers and Cleveland Cavaliers NBA star Matthew Dellavedovawith Wallaby scrum half Nic White rounding out another strong field.
