George Burgess is confident his sides recent triumphs can allow the Rabbitohs to finish the 2016 season on a high when they take on the Bulldogs on Friday night.
“It’s been pleasing that we can get some of the stuff we have been practicing out on the park, out on to the field,” said Burgess.
“We get a bit of confidence as well, it goes with it when you start winning, it breeds confidence and feels good.”
With the Bulldogs clash marking the last game for the season, Burgess, is focusing on putting his best foot forward in the week ahead in order to be in a good position for the 2017 preseason.
“Coming into the back end of this year we couldn’t make the finals so we want to put our best foot forward for next year and put ourselves in a good position to start the preseason with confidence and knowing that we can do something as a squad.
“It’s always great when we play against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium. We’ve got some good memories there and they’re a good team.
“I always like playing against James Graham and it should be a good one on Friday night.”
