The South Sydney Rabbitohs will play 15 games in Sydney in 2025, as well as playing four games in south-east Queensland and one in Western Australia, for our Members right across Australia throughout the upcoming NRL season.
Following the release of the 2025 NRL draw today, it can be revealed that the Rabbitohs will play nine matches at their home ground of Accor Stadium in 2025, including eight home games, plus an away game against the Bulldogs which provides reciprocal access rights for Rabbitohs Ticketed Members on Good Friday.
The Club’s home Indigenous Round match will be played at Allianz Stadium in the heartland of South Sydney territory in Moore Park, against the Parramatta Eels which will see three all-Sydney derbies played at Allianz Stadium on the second weekend of Indigenous Round fixtures.
The Rabbitohs will also play home games at Perth’s Optus Stadium in round six against the Cowboys, the Sharks at Industree Group Stadium in Gosford in round 21, plus pre-season challenge matches against the Sea Eagles in Gosford and the Charity Shield against the Dragons in Mudgee.

PURCHASE NOWSpeaking of June, what a month for Sydney-based Members and supporters with four home games at Accor Stadium taking place in June! Those games are against the Warriors in round 13, Bulldogs in round 15, Storm in round 16 and our first ever home game against the Dolphins in round 17.
Breaking down the draw even further, the Rabbitohs will play 14 games on weekends (Saturdays or Sundays) throughout the year in a huge bonus for families, including two Sunday afternoon matches at Accor Stadium in June. The team will feature in eight Friday night football games and only two Thursday night games throughout the regular season.
The Rabbitohs will play 2024 top-eight teams the Cowboys (home in Perth), the Knights (home in Brisbane for Magic Round) and the Sea Eagles (away at 4 Pines Park) only once in 2025, also playing the Tigers, Warriors, Raiders, Titans and Eels on just the one occasion throughout the year. This means South Sydney will avoid long road trips to New Zealand and Townsville during the upcoming season.
The Rabbitohs will enjoy better-placed bye rounds in 2025 compared to 2024, having breaks in rounds 12, 19 and 26. The team will also only have two five-day turnarounds between matches, those being between rounds three and four, and rounds 24 and 25, with all of those games being played in Sydney, meaning the team is not travelling between five-day turnaround matches. The Rabbitohs will have players unavailable due to State of Origin duty in round 15 against the Bulldogs prior to Origin II and the Sea Eagles in round 18 prior to Origin III.
The first two matches that every Rabbitohs Member and supporter marks on the draw first up each year are the battles for the Ron Coote Cup against our bitter arch-rivals, the Sydney Roosters. South Sydney will host the Roosters in round five at Accor Stadium before finishing the regular season in round 27 in an away game at Allianz Stadium, both in the prime-time Friday night football timeslot.
The Rabbitohs’ first home game of the year will be in round four against the reigning premiers, the Panthers, with Accor Stadium unavailable until round four in the upcoming season due to other events at the venue. The final home game of the regular season will be played against traditional rivals, the Dragons, in round 25.
The Rabbitohs will host the Roosters in round five in the NRL’s Multicultural Round, play away to the Bulldogs in round seven in the annual Good Friday blockbuster, be the away team in the feature ANZAC Day clash against the Storm in Melbourne in round eight, host the Knights in round nine in Magic Round, host the Dolphins for the first time at Accor Stadium in Beanie for Brain Cancer Round in round 17, and host the Eels in Indigenous Round in round 24.

Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, is excited about the season ahead.
“Once the draw is unveiled each year, then it feels like the new season is right upon us and I know it’s when our Members start to get up and about regarding the new season,” Mr Solly said.
“We have a great mix for all of our Members, whether they are based in Sydney, up on the Central Coast, in central-west New South Wales, in Queensland, Canberra, Melbourne, and once again in Western Australia.
“Unfortunately, we won’t get to visit our Members in north Queensland and New Zealand this year, however we will be playing a pathways trial match in Townsville in February through our partnership with the Townsville Blackhawks so we will be able to see them all then.
Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly“We think the draw offers great value to our Members, particularly Ticketed Members who will get access to nine games at Accor Stadium in 2025, and under the guidance of Wayne (Bennett) we know that the team will give themselves a much better chance of being successful for the Members in 2025."
“We have over 20,000 Members signed up for 2025 already so if you are yet to renew or want to sign up for the first time, there is no better time than right now to do so.”
