2015
The Rabbitohs issued the Club’s first ANZAC jersey to commemorate 100 years of the ANZAC’s, which was inspired by the Redfern War Memorial at Redfern Park.
2017
The 2017 ANZAC jersey had a camouflaged red and green design that paid tribute to the 104th Battery which joined the 12th Field Regiment based in Holsworthy.
2018
In the 2018 ANZAC Round, the Rabbitohs honoured those who carried a nation on their shoulders. We paid our respects to the heroes who served our nation with distinction in World War I and World War II, and also wore a rabbit on their chest.
When South Sydney ran out against the Brisbane Broncos at ANZ Stadium on Thursday 26 April, ANZAC Round, they carried them with them.
Each serviceman who turned out for the Grand Old Club in any grade and served in World Wars I or II, had their name etched on our jersey.
340 Rabbitohs. 177 first grade players. 17 New South Wales representatives. 11 internationals. All of them left a lasting legacy and all were remembered.
Those Rabbitohs who gave the ultimate sacrifice will appear in Cardinal and Myrtle one more time. The Rabbitohs Armed Forces Roll of Honour. Lest we forget.
2019
In 2019, the Rabbitohs wore a special ANZAC-inspired jersey to commemorate those men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country on the field of battle.
The jersey featured a red poppy design which formed the red hoops on the traditional South Sydney jersey.
2021
Our 2021 ANZAC jersey was all blue with a brand new logo specially designed to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Australian Air Force, with a red rabbit inside a green circle.
2022
The Rabbitohs wore their 2022 ANZAC Jersey against the Tigers, paying tribute to the Royal Australian Navy.
The jersey replicated the White Ensign flag of the Navy in the red and green colours of the Rabbitohs.
2023
The Rabbitohs paid tribute to the Royal Australian Navy Submarine Service with the 2023 ANZAC round jersey.
Inspired by the hull of a submarine in deep water, this jersey featured bold stripes that symbolised the bravery, courage and resilience of our submariners.
Featuring the Royal Australian Navy Submarine Service badge with the Rabbitohs logo in the middle, this jersey served as a reminder of our team's commitment to excellence and dedication to our community.
