The South Sydney Rabbitohs medical and rehabilitation team have provided the following updates on the Club’s injured players.

In good news, second-rower Jacob Host and prop Shaquai Mitchell are both progressing really well with their rehabilitation from their injuries and are both close to returning to play.

Fullback Jye Gray should be available this week after being injured in a hip drop tackle by Aidan Sezer in Saturday’s game against the Tigers.

Hooker Peter Mamouzelos has a lateral ankle sprain sustained in Saturday’s game against the Tigers. The Club is hopeful he will play this week. The training staff will modify his workload and monitor throughout the week to see how he progresses.

Centre Richie Kennar sustained a head knock in Saturday’s game against the Tigers. He is going through the concussion protocol and won’t be available for the Raiders game this Sunday.

Young back-rower Thomas Fletcher sustained a high-grade hamstring injury playing NSW Cup against the Roosters on the weekend. He will get a surgical opinion this week and will be assessed from there.

Fullback Latrell Mitchell has been really positive since succumbing to the foot injury he sustained against the Parramatta Eels. He gets another scan today (Monday) to check on the widening and severity of the ligament damage. The Club will know more once he’s met with the specialist, post-scan.

Winger Tyrone Munro continues his rehabilitation following surgery to repair his broken collarbone and is hopeful of a return to play in the coming weeks.

Halfback Dean Hawkins continues his rehabilitation from a severe quadriceps injury. He has returned to running and is hopeful of returning to play in the coming weeks.

Forward Jai Arrow’s surgery went really well. He’s in good spirits and back around the team. The severity of the surgery means it’s a longer-term rehabilitation so he’ll start work with the physiotherapists this week and progress from there towards his return in the 2025 pre-season.

Prop Junior Tatola had his severe foot injury at the start of the season. The Club tried a conservative approach to his rehabilitation, but it was then decided to have the surgery. He will return in the 2025 pre-season.

Outside back Isaiah Tass had surgery on his ankle and lower limb fracture earlier this year. He’s progressing really well with his rehabilitation, but he won’t be available until the 2025 pre-season.

Centre Campbell Graham continues his rehabilitation following surgery on his sternum and will look to return in the 2025 pre-season.

Second-rower Ben Lovett continues his strengthening program following his knee surgery. He is aiming to return to the field in the 2025 pre-season.

Halfback Lachlan Ilias is also continuing his strengthening program following his leg fractures and will return to full training in 2025 pre-season.
