Following our match against the Wests Tigers, Richard Kennar and Cameron Murray have been charged by the Match Review Committee.

Rabbitohs centre, Richard Kennar, was charged by the Match Review Committee with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle on Luke Laulilii in the 31st minute; this is Kennar’s third and subsequent offence. If Kennar takes the early guilty plea, he will be suspended for three matches. If Kennar is found guilty at the panel, he will be suspended for four matches.

UPDATE (19 Aug): Richie Kennar will head to the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday night having pleaded guilty to the careless high tackle charge, however he is challenging the grading of the tackle, looking to have it reduced to a grade one from a grade two.

Rabbitohs captain, Cameron Murray, was charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact on Aidan Sezer in the 48th minute. If Murray takes the early guilty plea, he will be fined $1000. If Murray is found guilty at the panel, he will be fined $1500.

UPDATE (19 Aug): Cameron Murray has taken the early guilty plea for his charge and has been fined $1000.
