Following our match against the Newcastle Knights, Cameron Murray has been charged by the Match Review Committee.
Rabbitohs captain, Cameron Murray, was charged by the Match Review Committee with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle on Tyson Frizell in the 37th minute. If Murray takes the early guilty plea, he will be suspended for two games. If Murray is found guilty at the panel, he will be suspended for three games. If the charge is successfully downgraded, he will receive a monetary fine instead. No decision has been made on his plea as yet.
UPDATE (26 Aug): Cameron Murray will head to the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday night having pleaded guilty to the careless high tackle charge, however he is challenging the grading of the tackle, looking to have it reduced to a grade one from a grade two.
