110 years ago to the day, South Sydney registered their biggest ever victory against Western Suburbs with a 67-0 drumming!
The match was played at the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds (Sydney).
Both William Fry and Arthur McCabe picked up hat-tricks that day, while Arthur Conlin and Howard Hallett crossed for doubles.
The 1910 Rabbitohs had a red-hot side with the likes of speedster Tommy Anderson, skipper Arthur Conlin and Howard Hallett, all of which went on to represent the Kangaroos.
While Newtown took the 1910 Premiership by a point, the Rabbitohs won back-to-back Premierships in 1908 and 1909.
