Rabbitohs Embrace Lots of Socks Initiative in Support of Down Syndrome NSW

The South Sydney Rabbitohs brought plenty of smiles and joy to their Captain’s Run this week as they welcomed members of Down Syndrome NSW in support of the Lots of Socks initiative. The event, held in the lead-up to Thursday night’s clash at Accor Stadium against the Panthers, was an memorable experience for the attendees, who had the opportunity to meet their Rabbitohs heroes, take photos, and collect signatures.

Among those in attendance were social media superstars Sean and Marley, who brought their energy to the morning, making the experience even more special for everyone involved. Adding to the celebration, Rabbitohs players took to the field for their training session wearing the brightly colored and mismatched socks, fully embracing the Lots of Socks initiative and showing their commitment to raising awareness.

Following last week’s World Down Syndrome Day, the Rabbitohs have continued their commitment to supporting inclusivity and raising awareness for Down Syndrome NSW. The Lots of Socks initiative encourages people to wear brightly colored and mismatched socks as a conversation starter to promote diversity and inclusion.

The initiative continues on Thursday night when up to 100 members from Down Syndrome NSW will be special guests at Accor Stadium to cheer on the Rabbitohs. This event highlights the Rabbitohs’ support of Down Syndrome NSW and bringing their community together to celebrate inclusion in sport.

The club encourages all members and fans to get involved, pull on their Lots of Socks and show support for this fantastic cause: Down Syndrome NSW | Posisocks
