Rabbitohs Launch New Partnership with Wheelchair Rugby League
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are proud to announce a new partnership with Wheelchair Rugby League, marking an exciting step forward in the Club’s commitment to inclusivity and expanding the game for all.
In 2025, the Rabbitohs will host several Wheelchair Rugby NSW Cup matches at the world-class Heffron Centre, welcoming a new wave of athletes and fans to experience rugby league in a dynamic and inclusive format. As part of this initiative, the Rabbitohs will also welcome general fans, families, and community members to come and try Wheelchair Rugby League for themselves at Heffron. These sessions are open to everyone—regardless of age, ability, or experience—and give people the chance to get in a chair, learn the basics, and feel the thrill of the game firsthand.
It’s a great way to experience the sport from a new perspective, connect with players, and build appreciation for the incredible skill and athleticism involved.
As part of their debut season in the Wheelchair Rugby NSW Cup, the Rabbitohs will feature in the following matches:
