Rabbitohs NRL squad for 42nd Charity Shield against Dragons in Mudgee

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for the 42nd Charity Shield match against the St George Illawarra Dragons to be played this Saturday 22 February at 3pm at Glen Willow Stadium in Mudgee.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Wayne Bennett has named Latrell Mitchell at fullback and captain for his team’s final pre-season hit-out in the lead up to round one, with Jack Wighton, Keaon Koloamatangi, Tyrone Munro, Tallis Duncan, Jayden Sullivan and Jamie Humphreys all set to play their first games for the season in the South Sydney colours on Saturday.

Souths Cares is the Rabbitohs’ chosen charity for this game, an organisation that operates programs for disadvantaged, marginalized, and Indigenous youth and their families in the South Sydney district, around the State, and throughout the Country in the areas of education, training, health, and employment. Gates will open at 12:30pm, with the Laurie Daley Cup match between the Western Rams and the Monaro Colts kicking off at 12:40pm.
