The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for ANZAC round eight of the 2023 NRL Premiership against the Penrith Panthers to be played this Thursday 20 April at 7:50pm at Accor Stadium.
Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou has named Izaac Tu’itupou Thompson to return on the wing after missing last week’s win over the Dolphins. Michael Chee Kam has been named in the second row to replace the injured Keaon Koloamatangi.
The Rabbitohs will be wearing the 2023 Rabbitohs ANZAC Round Jersey against the Panthers which pays tribute to the Royal Australian Navy Submarine Service. Inspired by the dark colour of submarines and the refracted light of deep water, this jersey features bold stripes that symbolise the bravery, courage and resilience or our submariners. Featuring the Royal Australian Navy Submarine Service badge with the Rabbitohs logo in the middle, this jersey serves as a reminder of our team's commitment to excellence and dedication to our community.
The NSW Cup fixture between the Rabbitohs and Panthers will kick off at 5:25pm on Thursday evening, with gates at Accor Stadium set to open at 5:10pm.
