Rabbitohs NRL squad for round six against Cowboys in Perth this Saturday

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for round six against the North Queensland Cowboys to be played this Saturday 12 April at 3:30pm AWST (5:30pm AEST) at Optus Stadium in Perth.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Wayne Bennett has named Euan Aitken to make his Rabbitohs debut in the centres this Saturday, replacing Latrell Mitchell who has shifted to five-eighth to replace the injured Cody Walker. Jayden Sullivan replaces the injured Jamie Humphreys at halfback and Alex Johnston returns from injury to replace the injured Mikaele Ravalawa. Mitchell will captain the side this weekend.

No less than ten internationals have been selected in the Rabbitohs squad for this weekend’s match up with the Cowboys including State of Origin stars Latrell Mitchell (NSW), Jack Wighton (NSW), Keaon Koloamatangi (NSW) and Jai Arrow (QLD).

The round six clash between the Rabbitohs and the Cowboys is part of a huge double header in Perth this Saturday which will also feature a match between the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles which will be played at 1pm AWST (3pm AEST). The double header is proudly supported by VenuesWest and VenuesLive.

This is the 12th time the Rabbitohs have brought a home game to Perth since 2009 and the third time they have played at Optus Stadium.

The Rabbitohs enjoy wonderful support in Perth and Western Australia, and with no AFL being played in Perth this weekend there is no better time for the sporting public to come and enjoy two great games of Rugby League.

Tickets are available now from Ticketmaster. Gates open at 12pm AWST.
