The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NSW Cup team will take on the North Sydney Bears in a 2023 Grand Final replay in the first leg of the Mario Fenech Cup, while our Jersey Flegg Cup team will do battle with the Warriors this weekend.
The Rabbitohs and Bears will play in the first leg of the Mario Fenech Cup for season 2024, named after South Sydney and North Sydney legend, Mario Fenech. The winner is determined by the aggregate scores of the two regular season games played each year between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and North Sydney Bears. The NSW KOE Cup match will be part of the NSWRL’s Magic Round being played at North Sydney Oval, with the Rabbitohs away to the Bears on Saturday 18 May at 5pm.
The Rabbitohs’ Jersey Flegg Cup team will play their round five match against the Warriors which was originally postponed due to poor weather, taking on the New Zealanders on Saturday 18 May at 12pm at Erskineville Oval.
