The South Sydney Rabbitohs have ranked number one overall amongst the 17 NRL Clubs in terms of player satisfaction with their Club, based on the recent results from the Rugby League Players’ Association (RLPA) ‘Players’ Pulse’ survey.

The survey, conducted in the second half of the 2024 season, ranked the 17 clubs on 12 key indicators, including Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, Football Management, Medical Staff, CEO Support, Nutrition Services, Family Support and Facilities, Wellbeing and Education, Workplace Environment, Psychological Safety, Cultural Safety, Match-Day Facilities, Training Facilities, Recovery Facilities, Workload and Balance, and Travel.

Each key indicator was given a between A and F. An A ranking indicated 85% or more of the player group provided a score of 9 and/or 10 when ranking. A B ranking indicated 75% or more of the group provided a score of 8, 9 and/or 10 when ranking. This goes down to an F ranking which indicates 50% or more of the group provided a score of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and/or 0 when ranking.

The Rabbitohs received four A’s and eight B’s amongst their 12 rankings, earning the Club the ‘Best on Ground – Overall’ ranking amongst the 17 NRL clubs, topping thew table the services and support categories as well as the facilities categories.

Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, is very proud of the Club and these results, which have been published by the RLPA today.

“This is a remarkable achievement for our Club and we thank our players for their show of faith and trust in the direction we are taking as a whole club, together,” Mr Solly said.

“The results weren’t what we were after on the field, but it shows we are getting things right off the field with the calibre of people and the quality of the facilities that we surround our players with, to give them the best chance of success throughout the season.
