Former Rabbitohs players Les Davidson, Michael Andrews and Darryl Neville participated in Royce’s Big Walk on Sunday, 11 August, raising money for dementia research.
As part of the 300km trek around Sydney, Les, Mick and Darryl joined the Allianz Stadium-to-St George Leagues Club leg of the walk, stopping over at the USANA Rabbitohs Centre for a coffee and a tour of the centre.
"We had a great day talking about football and life in general", said Michael Andrews, former Rabbitohs player and Member Co Board Member.
"Congratulations to Royce on his commitment to raising money for Dementia, he is truly an inspiration”.
Royce Simmons was diagnosed with dementia in 2022, and shortly after founded the charity 'Royce Simmons Foundation'.
The 10-day charity trek will wrap up on Thursday, 15 August at Penrith Stadium, just in time for Penrith's game against Melbourne.
