The South Sydney Rabbitohs will play the Brisbane Tigers in the NRL State Championship game on NRL Grand Final day, this Sunday 1 October at 1:20pm at Accor Stadium, as the Rabbitohs take aim at their first NRL State Championship title.
The Rabbitohs won last Sunday's KOE NSW Cup Grand Final over the North Sydney Bears, 22 points to 18, taking out the Club’s 21st second grade premiership and it's first in 40 years. This victory qualified South Sydney for the State Championship against the QLD Cup winners, the Brisbane Tigers, at the Rabbitohs home ground of Accor Stadium on NRL Grand Final day.
This is the first time the Rabbitohs have played in this NRL State Championship game, with the men in red and green having the opportunity to win two titles in seven days.
