In 2025, Souths Cares launched the Play Her Way Program with the support of the Australian Government.
The program has been developed to address many of the barriers girls face in participating in sport including affordability, quality of coaching and a lack of holistic training programs specifically designed for female athletes.
Play Her Way includes a 10 week training program aligning with the school term where participants receive high level Rugby League coaching, mentorship, sporting equipment and subsidised fees for team registrations.
Training sessions are hosted within the South Eastern Sydney and the Inner City areas after school hours.
Souths Cares is an independent not-for-profit public benevolent institution, established to support the local community and address social need across the South Sydney region. Your donation helps assist their program in supporting disadvantaged and marginalised youth and their families.
